Woman Bites Off Neighbour’s Scrotum During Public Fight

A man, Olayera Boluwaji, is lying critically ill at an undisclosed hospital, where doctors are battling to save his life after his female neighbour, Nifemi Ajayi, bite off part of his scrotum during a public fight.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened on 24th August, 2021, at about 8pm at No. 21 Oke-Soda in Ile-Ife, Osun State, where they reside.

The woman, Nifemi, who turned cannibal by the biting, has been arrested and charged before Court, which then remanded her in correctional center pending the determination of her bail condition. 

The order was given by the Magistrates Court sitting in Ile-Ife, Osun State, presided by Magistrate Olusola Aluko, where the Police charged her for assault occasioning harm.

The prosecutor, Inspector Sunday Osanyintuyi, informed the Court that the defendant committed the offence on August 24 at about 8pm at No. 21 Oke-Soda in Ile Ife by biting Olayera Boluwaji both on his scrotum, stomach and hands and that the offence contravened the provisions of Section 355 of the criminal code, laws of Osun State 2002.

She pleaded not guilty. 

Her counsel, Phili Fasanmoye, made an oral application for bail asking the Court to grant the defendant bail on liberal terms.

 But the Magistrate, Aluko, ordered the defence Counsel to file a written application for bail and therefore, ordered the remand of the defendant in Ilesa Correctional Centre pending when she will be granted bail.

The matter was adjourned till 15th November, 2021, for consideration of her bail application.
