Workers’ Day 2025: Organized Labour Confers Soludo With The “Workers’ Beacon Of Hope” Award

The Organized Labour in Anambra State on the 2025 Workers’ Day celebration held in the transformed Alex Ekwueme Square, Awka, proudly honoured Governor Soludo with the “Workers’ Beacon of Hope” award in recognition of his exceptional empathy, dedication, and unwavering support for workers in the the state. 
They expressed their sincere appreciation for Soludo’s prompt and thorough implementation of the 2024 approved minimum wage. While the national benchmark was set at ₦70,000, Soludo generously approved ₦82,000—the highest in the Southeast—and implemented it seamlessly across all sectors without any industrial unrest.
Additionally, they commended Soludo for his visionary leadership and significant efforts to transform Anambra into a hub of economic and infrastructural excellence.
