Year In Review: Buruj Football Club/Academy Attained Giant Strides In 2022

The year 2022 was a blessed one for the Lagos-based academy/football Club with records of achievements that surpassed those recorded in previous years, as it was filled with so many energetic moves, great fortunes on the players and the academy/club, resounding victories and attainment of long time desire of impactful coexistence between the academy and its players.
The Management of the club/academy recorded tonnes of success in their field of operations, which included but are not limited to:
Earlier in the year – The club also successfully registered and participated in the 2022 season of the Third Tier League in the Nigeria League System (Nationwide League One – NLO) despite the challenges and hiccups, the club scaled through with its players getting recognition on the field of play due to their exceptional performances on the pitch. They also participated in various friendly matches and build-up sessions.
Rounding up the first quarter of the year, the club/academy obtained 3 acres of land to facilitate the construction of their proposed dream stadium in the heart of Ikorodu, where the club is situated. This capital-intensive project is a big win for the club as it has been the academy’s most looked-out-for project over the years which was achieved in the year 2022.
In the middle of the year, the academy/club’s finest potential and Skipper, Noah Salaudeen, amassed 100 career goals that were later sealed up with a deal in the Portuguese football side, Sporting Vianna Football Club, alongside two of his teammates Peter Joel and Ahmed Ogande, which was another big win for the team affirming to the genuineness and purpose-driven impact on the lives of its players fulfilling their long time dream of signing a lucrative contract which in turns would help in the development of the nations economy.

To wrap up the year came another big win for the club and its players as three 3 other of its finest potentials and resourceful talents, Edet Inyang, Chinonso Sunday and Clifford Ayangan got an upright deal in the Spanish side at CD Leganese Football Club, with their travel documents gotten.
They are all set to jet out in flying colours this January 2023 to represent and uplift the name of the club, their respective states and homes, Lagos State, and Nigeria at large setting the pace to the world unifying the oneness the game of football teaches.
Just to mention a few of the landmark achievements the academy/club attained in the year, it made it a fantastic year that can be traced down to the joy and fortune smiling on the face of its players as more foreign partners began to seal up interest in the academy/club getting set for the new year thereby reaffirming their global recognition in due course. They have yet to carved a niche for themselves in the football system, history, and ideology in Nigeria expanding their global reach, both returning players and incoming players are assured of remarkable achievements in the year 2023.
