The Executive Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, has warmly congratulated the Muslim Ummah in Anambra State and across Nigeria on the happy occasion of Eid el Fitri.

In his goodwill message, Governor Soludo rejoiced with the Muslim faithful as they mark the successful completion of the holy month of Ramadan, a period of deep reflection, sacrifice, and devotion to the Almighty.

Governor Soludo particularly commended the Muslim community for their resilience, spiritual discipline, and endurance demonstrated throughout the 30-day fasting period. He acknowledged that the virtues of patience, charity, and self-denial practised during Ramadan are essential qualities that strengthen the moral fabric of our society.

The Governor urged our Muslim brothers and sisters to sustain the spiritual renewal and good deeds cultivated during Ramadan, and remain steadfast in their prayers for sustained peace, progress, and unity in Anambra State and the nation as a whole.

Reaffirming his administration’s commitment to an all-inclusive society, the Governor pledged to continue promoting the ideals of religious harmony, tolerance, and mutual respect, so that every citizen, regardless of faith, can coexist peacefully and contribute meaningfully to the development of the state and Nigeria in general.

In all, Governor Soludo wished all Muslim faithful a blessed and joyous Eid celebration.
