Youths Hail Hon Samson Olatunde, Appeals For More Projects

Youths from Ilogbo-Eremi Community in Olorunda Local Council Development Area, Iworo, Badagry axis of Lagos State yesterday paid a ‘thank you’ visit to the Council Chairman, Hon. Samson Folorunsho Olatunde, at the Secretariat, in Iworo.
The youths, who were in their hundreds trooped to the Council Secretariat to ultimately register their joy and deep appreciation for the huge projects and unprecedented local government attention in the area. They sought the Chairman’s attention and thanked him for his exemplary leadership and the proactive nature of his administration in salvaging the residents from their long time agony of underdevelopment especially concerning bad roads, additional modern schools and creation of employment opportunities mainly for its teeming and vibrant youths.
Presenting their views was one Mr. Odunlami Sunday, who reiterated how much joy the new 900 metres ongoing road construction and the modern Police Station Headquarters presently gaining construction attention had brought to the community and promising hope of rapid economic growth to be benefited courtesy of Hon. Samson Folorunsho Olatunde a.k.a Samola, who is the current Executive Chairman of the Council.
Comrade Odunlami nonetheless pleaded with the Chairman to as well help look into building additional schools in the area as many of the children in Ilogbo – Eremi Community had to contend with travelling several miles away from the community to attain expected learning.
Hon. Olatunde (Samola) in his welcome reaction appreciated all the youths in return and elucidated more on why many of the communities demands had to be prioritized; he alluded it to very low revenue generation and low federal allocations to the Local Council. The Council boss said that it became imperative to do so in order to develop the entire Olorunda at a pace that can only be seen as striking a balance amongst all other communities’ developmental needs while noting that human needs are always insatiable with minimal or scarce resources.
Hon Olatunde however, promised never to fail in his relentless efforts to deliver positive and enviable dividends of democracy as his parting gifts to all the good people of Olorunda with their continuous support for the success of his administration.
The Executive Chairman also used the avenue to sensitise the youths on the need to keep away from all forms of electoral violence, remain responsible and be more productive to their community while also reassuring them of future job opportunities as vacancies arise.
