Update: JustRite SuperStore Staff Who Stole N250 Sweet Convicted

The staff of Just Rite Super Store Abule Egba branch, Joshua Joseph who was  arrested and charged before a Lagos court for stealing a pack of sweet worth N250 has been finally convicted and sentence accordingly.

30-year old Joseph was sentenced for community service after the prosecutor, Mr Victor Ewudu presented the facts before the court and asked the court to sentence him accordingly to serve as deterrent to other staff.

However, the presiding Magistrate, Mrs G.O. Anifowoshe heard his plea for leniency during allocutor after she has found him guilty as charged and sentenced him to community service.

It was gathered that by the court pronouncement, Joseph will be in prison custody pending the time he will completed his community service sentence before he would be released.

P.M.EXPRESS had reported that Joseph was arrested and charged to court for stealing by his employers, Just Rite.

He pleaded guilty and was remanded in prison custody at Kirikiri pending when he will be jailed accordingly.

The convicted Joseph reportedly went to work and stole Sweetened Dikins coconut flakes valued the amount.

However,  he was caught by the the security who handed him over to the management.
