Three suspected cultists have been arrested by Police operatives in Ogun State and some female pants suspected to have been stolen for ritual purposes were recovered from them.

P.M.EXPRESS reports as was disclosed by the Police Public Relations Officers, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, on behalf of the Commissioner of Police.
DSP Oyeyemi said that in continuation of its war against cultism and other violent crimes, men of the Ogun State Police Command on Friday 10th May, 2019, stormed an initiation hideout of the dreaded Eiye Confraternity in Agbowa area of Ogijo where three members of the group were arrested.
The DPO Ogijo Division, CSP Muhammed Suleman Baba, while leading his men of Operation Puff Adder on routine patrol got information about the hideout of the cult group where they usually initiate new members. The Police subsequently stormed the place and three members of the group were arrested.

The arrested cultists who have all confessed their membership of Eiye Confraternity were Olagboye Abidemi, 32, Olasemojo Michael, 28, and Wasiu Waheed, 23.

Recovered from suspected cultists were: one jack knife, one blood stained silver knife, one female pant tied with charms and other assorted charms.

Meanwhile, the Ogun State Commissioner of Police, CP Bashir Makama, has ordered the transfer of the suspects to Anti-Kidnapping/Cultists Section of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for discreet investigation. The CP therefore warned that the state will no longer be conducive for any violent group as the Command will be taking the battle to them.
