4 Notorious Motorcycle Robbers Arrested In Lagos

The police at Area M Command, Idimu have apprehended four suspected Motorcycles armed robbers who have been terrorizing Alimosho Local Government residents for some time in  Lagos.
The robbers were arrested on Wednesday after they raided some streets in Ikotun and then, moved to Idimu area before they met their waterloo.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the suspects whose identity was yet disclosed by the police, was arrested at Liasu road in Idimu where they went on a day light robbery to some boutique outlets in the area.
P.M.EXPRESS gathered after they have robed some shops at gun point and was escaping before one of the victims reportedly pursued them with SUV and hit two of the bikes and they fell down.
Four of the suspects was arrested and the residents attempted to mob them before police intervened, the two other suspects escaped with one bike.
At the Ikotun Police division where they were detained, resident troop there watching how the police will deal with them before one of the suspects died as a result of injury he sustained when they were attacked before the rescue by the police.
When our correspondent visited the station, the DPO was not around to comment on the incident.
However, the suspects were seen detained in the cell and the corpse of the dead suspect was taken to the General Hospital for autopsy report.
P.M.EXPRESS also gathered that the police recovered their arms and the two Motorcycles as exhibits kept at the Station.
When our reporter visited Area M Command, Idimu, the commander, ACP Austines Akika confirmed the incident and said the suspects will be taken to SARS for further investigation.
He referred our reporter to the Lagos State Police Command, Ikeja for further information.
Meanwhile, the residents expressed their happiness over the arrest of the bandits which they said have been terrorizing the residents.
One of the residents said the gang have being operating terrorizing the residents until the recent incident that led to their arrest.
