9 Suspected Robbers Arrested As Police Declare War On Cultists

The heat is really becoming intense on suspected armed robbers and various cult groups in Lagos as the police have continued to bust them in their hideouts.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that nine suspected armed robbers were recently arrested with some ammunition recovered in various parts of the state by the Police Command.
The suspects were Rasheed Yusuf, 45, Sola Adeogun, a.k.a Otunba, 28, Femi Adegbile, 29, Ajayi, John, 41, Ajayi Kamoru, 47, Wilfred Godonu, 34, Saheed Sosanya, 46, Segun Adeyemi and Johnson Ijiola, 27.
The police also recovered some arms and ammunition which included AK47 rifle, locally made pistol, 60 rounds of live ammunition, rifle magazines and live cartridges during the period under review.
The police did not equally spare suspected cultists as a number of them were arrested. They were Ama Egwu, 36, Chukwu Njoku, 36, Joseph Oladayo, 27, Olasile fasanya, 28, Richard Eze, 27, Ayandibu Ayolare,32, Sulaiman Razaq, 26, Adeniran Yusuf, 25 and many others.
Also suspected kidnappers were arrested which included Abubakar Waheed, 41, Pauly Goddey, 29, Odudu John, 26.
The suspects were paraded by the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Imohimi Edgal, at the Police Command, Ikeja, Lagos.
The police boss reiterated that there was no hiding place for criminal elements to operate in the state and advised them to change or leave the state. He revealed that the successes achieved were as a result of the improvement on the training of the officers and the partnership with the members of the public.
CP Edgal said that the public now have trust and confidence in the police and that was why they were providing credible information that led to those successes. He assured members of the public that the police will continue to do their best to ensure the protection of lives and properties in the State.
He said that the suspects will be charged to court after the conclusion of investigations.
