Soludo’s Obsessions With Propaganda

OBI TRICE EMEKA

I had thought that the Anambra 2021 gubernatorial election, going by the names aiming for the top seat would be one in which ideas would be constantly proffered and debated on how to ameliorate the precarious situation in Anambra State, sadly it’s not. Anambra has turned into a theatre of absurd, with all manners of moral wrenching propaganda churned out on per-second billing by a desperate candidate seeking to forcefully impose himself on the electorates by damaging the reputation of his main challengers.

The Soludo Campaign Organisation is one which have relied heavily on propaganda and propagandists. They have gone berserk. They do nothing but churn out concocted tales- tales created from their destructive imagination to destroy the characters of other candidates. 95% of all the propaganda materials circulating on the social media today, about other candidates is from the Soludo Campaign Organisation.

If not made to stop, the Soludo Campaign Organisation will drive Anambra to perdition with It’s insane propaganda articles. They have accused their opponents, without any evidence of being responsible for the violence in the state even when police records and eyewitness account say the opposite. Even when they fail with their own programmes, like the hurried commissioning of the Anambra Airport that never held. They transfer the liability to their opponent in crude propaganda.

They invent none existent characters and storyline and wrap it round candidates who are tipped to outflank them in the gubernatorial race in a bid to slow them down.

Ask: Have you seen any video or post of Soludo discussing issues that affect Anambra as it concerns this election? No. Soludo is now a full-blooded politician ready to destroy his intellectualism to achieve a political end. This is why he encourages and cajole his band of propagandists to engage in calumny and criminal defamation.

Why is Soludo so desperate that he now have to employ hundred of propagandists led by one Chinedu Obigwe a notorious character assassin who doubles as the Deputy Media Director of the Soludo Campaign Organisation?

I had initially written this article before attending the Anambra Gubernatorial Debate, and after watching the debate i found out why the Soludo Campaign Organisation is driven by propaganda. Soludo loves propaganda. He takes special interest in creating. The manner of accusations he made at that debate is one unfit for a professor and can only be a product of desperation.

The Former Minister of Finance and current Director General, World Trade Organization, WTO, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala gives us a peep into the character of Soludo

“There is definitely an issue of character with Professor Charles Soludo and his desperate search for power and relevance in Nigeria. Nigerians should therefore beware of so-called intellectuals without character and wisdom because this combination is fatal.”

And i add: a quote is enough for the wise
