Senator Adeola Felicitates With Gbajabiamila, Sanwo-Olu On Their Birthdays, Describes Them As Foremost Progressives

The Chairman of Senate Committee on Finance, Senator Solomon Adeola (APC, Lagos West), has felicitated with Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, the Speaker of the House of Representatives and Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the Governor of Lagos State, as they celebrate their 60th and 57th birthdays respectively, describing them as noted role models for progressive politicians across Nigeria.
In a statement issued in Abuja, Senator Adeola said both celebrants are respected seniors in the progressive arm of Nigeria’s political divide, where he unashamedly belongs, stressing that their record of service over the years in public and private lives put them up as true patriots of Nigeria worthy of emulation in all respects.
“I want to congratulate my seniors in our political family of progressive politicians with association of over two decades in the city of Lagos and beyond. The celebrants are both steadfast and principled politicians that are impacting positively on the development of the nation. As a legislator, the Speaker of the 360-member Green Chamber has been instrumental to the development and deepening of our nascent democracy over the decades while Governor Sanwo-Olu, in the last three years as Governor, was a highly performing governor even in the face of COVID-19 pandemic, which effects were debilitating in the mega city of Lagos as its epicenter in Nigeria. The two gentlemen are foremost progressive politicians in Nigeria” Adeola stated.
While wishing them many more years of service in good health to their people, Nigeria and humanity, Senator Adeola prayed for divine wisdom and God’s guidance for both celebrants as they joyously mark their Diamond Jubilee and 57th birthday respectively.
