Teachers Day 2022: Ofumelu Eulogies Teachers In Oyi and Ayamelum

To commemorate this year’s Teacher’s Day celebration, the lawmaker who represents the Oyi and Ayamelum Federal Constituency lauded the tenacity, charisma, and dedication of teachers in the Federal Constituency.

Ofumelu congratulated and praised his school teachers from nursery, primary, secondary, and higher institutions, along with teachers working in Oyi/Ayamelum, in a statement released by himself from his Abuja office. He said their humanity was unparalleled and made them deserving role models. He urged them to continue serving the nation by producing outstanding leaders by being steadfast, quick, and unyielding in their efforts.

“Teachers lead us in a firm yet gentle manner from the moment we enter our nursery classrooms, away from our parents, until the moment we graduate. When parents are unable to care for their children, the teacher steps in to provide for their needs, teach them about humanity, and serve as a positive role model.”
