NURTW Lifts Suspension On MC Oluomo

The suspension of the transport union boss, Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya, popularly known as MC Oluomo, has been lifted by National Union of Road Transport Workers, (NURTW).
It will be recalled that MC Oluomo, who was the Chairman of the Lagos State chapter, was suspended unjustly by immediate past NURTW President, Tajudeen Ibikunle Baruwa.
But the National body of the Union, this week lifted the illegal suspension of the Chairman of Lagos State Parks and Garages, Alhaji Dr. Musiliu Ayinde Akinsanya.
The newly inaugurated President of the union, Alhaji Tajudeen Agbede, lifted the suspension order during his inaugural speech in FCT, Abuja.
Meanwhile, a letter signed by the Acting General Secretary of the union, Comrade Kayode Agebeyangi indicated, “Sequel to our letter dated March 12 2022, Ref No. NURTW/NHQA.20/VOL/18/ 86 captioned “Notice of suspension of Musiliu Akinsanya from office as the Lagos State Chairman of National Union Of Road Transport Workers, I am directed to notify you that your suspension from office as the Lagos State Chairman of our great union is hereby lifted with effect from today 1st of September, 2023″.
“The above decision was taken during an emergency Central Working Committee meeting (CWC) of the union dated 31st August, 2023, at the NURTW National Secretariat office complex, Plot 1236, Sapele Street, Garki II, FCT, Abuja.”
