AGN Partners With Ruzu Herbal Services On Nollywood Health Walk Campaign In Lagos

The National President of Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Dr. Emeka Rollas, has commended the chairman of Ruzu Herbal Services Limited and Go-Wellness Worldwide networking, Dr Robert Onyemaechi Uzu, for his contributions to humanity through free health services to Nollywood actors in Nigeria. 
P.M.EXPRESS reports that Dr Rollas stated this on 25th May, 2024, at Onikan Stadium in Lagos during the Nollywood  Actors Health Walk campaign held in the State.
He explained that through the partnership with Dr Uzu over 35 Nollywood actors have received free medical treatment from Ruzu Herbal products worth millions of Naira.
Rollas noted that Dr. Uzu, the CEO of Ruzu Health Care Services, has been partnering with AGN for over two years, promoting healthy lifestyle for actors especially over the recent breakthrough incident of Nollywood veteran, Prince Emeka Ani and how Ruzu Herbal Products restored his health status from a near death experience to revival.
“Dr. Uzu has treated over 35 ailing actors for free using Ruzu range of herbal products as well as Ruzu Holistics, where all manner of test can be carried out to ascertain cause of ailment before treatment commences” Rollas stated.
Dr. Uzu on his own part, stated that his company’s collaboration with AGN began 2 years ago when he observed the death rate of veterans, due to health issues in the Nollywood industry.
He stated that the health awareness is a partneship initiative between AGN and Ruzu Holistics to enable actors enjoy free health care services without having to spend so much with no result.
He stated: “Ruzu Holistics will be giving free health check, massages and one on one conversation with actors, who already know their health status but seek potent solutions”.
 Dr. Uzu stated that it was disgraceful to see actors on the screen and all over social media begging for money to restore their health. And as a healthcare practitioner, he was moved to go into building partnership with AGN so that actors can leverage on free health care services to regain good health and to make wealth outside acting through his Go-WellnessWorldwidenetwork Initiatives.
Earlier in his opening speech, the AGN President, Dr Rollas, stated that the purpose of the health walk was aimed at educating actors to focus more on their health and was first launched in Delta St, State in 2023, Lagos in 2024 and will be extended to other states over time.
 He said in 2023, the death record in Nollywood surged immensely giving a clue how proper healthcare routine has been ignored duo to carelessness that could have been avoided.
He stated that 2024 was earmarked for operation take care of your health leading to a series of healthcare programs set aside for members to check their health status, register with AGN HMO and insurance for healthcare services.
Dignitaries, who stormed the event included notable faces in the entertainment industry; the likes of
Desmond Elliot, Segun Arinze, Ali Baba, Nigeria historical gold medalist, DCP Chioma Ajunwa Rtd and other notable Nollywood actors, who trooped in enmasse to join the walk for life with starting point at the Onikan Stadium down to Falomo, Ikoyi and back to the stadium.
Highlight of the event was the football match, which had Nollywood veteran Segun Arinze, Ali Baba and other actors as players. Ruzu Holistics, an arm of Ruzu Health Care Services Ltd in collaboration with AGN rendered premium healthcare during the Nollywood Health Campaign and Walk For Life in Lagos.
Some of the Nollywood actors commended the event and the leadership of AGN  for their vision and Ruzu Herbal services boss, Dr Uzu, for his gesture of free medical treatment for ailing actors.
Prince Dr Emeka Ani, brand Ambassador for Ruzu Herbal Products, stated that he is pleased at the turn out of actors to observe the Nollywood Health Campaign and Walk For Life by the Lagos State chapter of AGN.
The veteran actor said that as an ambassador of the Ruzu brand, it is advisable that actors take their health status seriously and that’s why Ruzu Holistics, which also is also a sponsor of the event, is conducting free healthcare services for all actors with medical equipments to test their blood pressure, sugar level,give massages using modern machineries and other tests.
