At just 14, Raheem is in his final year of secondary school, preparing for the WAEC exams, a crucial milestone for Nigerian students. Despite the rigours of football training, he has maintained an impressive academic record, achieving distinctions in his secondary school results.

“It’s about time management and commitment,” Raheem said.

“I want to show young athletes that we can pursue our football dreams without neglecting our studies.”

Raheem’s skills have not gone unnoticed. He is among the final 40 elite players selected for the prestigious NFF/FIFA Talent Development Scheme, a platform aimed at identifying the country’s future stars. His success at Buruj Football Academy and consistent performance in the Nigeria National League have positioned him as a top contender for future inclusion in Nigeria’s national teams, including the U-17 and U-20 squads.
