Ezendigbo Of Ejigbo, Eze Alex Nwoye Mourns Death Of Eze Hyacinth Ohazuruike

The Ezendigbo of Ejigbo in Lagos State, Eze Alex Sunday Nwoye, has sent a condolence message to Ndigbo over the demise of the Ezendigbo, Lagos State,  Eze Hyacinth Nwabueze Ohazuruike (OON).
P.M.EXPRESS reports that Eze Nwoye, who also holds the chieftaincy title of Ochiri Ozua in Uga town in Anambra State, stated this in a statement in Lagos State over the death of Eze Ohazuruike.
He described the late Eze Ohazuruike as a great leader who demonstrated humility and had the interests of Ndigbo before personal and sectional interests.
Eze Nwoye who is also Babaselu of Ejigbo kingdom,noted that the late Eze Ohazuruike played crucial roles in uniting and defending the interest of Ndigbo with all the available resources at his disposal.
“He touched many lives; he will be remembered for his kindness, philanthropic gestures, empathy, compassion and willingness to  protect the interest of Ndigbo in Lagos State at all times” Nwoye said.
Eze Nwoye said that he received the news of the demise of Eze Ohazuruike with shock and noted that he played significant roles for Ndigbo in Lagos State.
“Eze Ohazuruike was a great leader and contributed immensely to the progress of Ndigbo in Lagos State and Nigeria at large. And his memories indeed will continue to be cherished by all who crossed his path.”
“He performed excellently in his empowerment drives to indigent traders, as he set up businesses for them without asking for refund.”
Nwoye prayed God to grant his soul eternal rest, give his immediate family and his loved ones and indeed Ndigbo the fortitude to bear the loss.
