Group Scores Gov. Douye Diri High On Road Infrastructure, Tasks Him On Kolokuma-Opokuma And Ogbia Roads

The Bayelsa Progressive Patriotic Forum (BPPF), a pro-APC group under the leadership of Comrade Kemelayefa Hendricks has commended Gov. Douye Diri for the good works he is doing in Bayelsa State.
The group argued that Gov. Diri has done marvelously in the area of road infrastructure thereby earning a 95% score.
They stated they will score him 100% if he constructs the damaged Opokuma road to link the Sabageria-Opolaku road and the Otuoke-Otuabula-Ewoi road which are very strategic.
In their argument, they said the Governor has done well in Nembe-Brass LGAs because of the famous Nembe-Brass road. The same is applicable to Southern Ijaw local government area with the 630-metres Angiama-Oporoma Bridge and adjoining roads to Otuan, Oporoma and other communities in that axis and the ongoing Angiama-Eneware road.
They went further to talk about the Ekeremor-Agge road in Ekeremor local government area and the Agbere-Abueto-Osifo-Osekwenike-Asamabiri-Ekperiwari-Elemebiri road that NDDC and Bayelsa State Government are constructing.
The group applauded the beautiful roads in the New Yenagoa City, Phase 3 of Glory Drive that links Imgbi Bridge/Junction, Opolo-Elebele road, the AIT-Igbogene Ring Road among others in Yenagoa LGA, while urging the resurfacing and reconstruction of internal roads in Yenagoa City.
Comrade Kemelayfa Hendricks insisted that while the enumerated roads are in Yenagoa, Southern Ijaw, Ekeremor, Sagbama, Nembe and Brass Local Government Areas the stories of Kolokuma-Opokuma and Ogbia Local Government Areas seems to be different.
It is on the strength of the above arguments with facts that they task Gov. Douye Diri to award the Opokuma road to link the Sabageria-Opolaku road and the Otuoke-Otuabula-Ewoi roads which are very strategic roads in the state.
They prayed Almighty God to continue to strengthen Senator Douye Diri to finish very strong.
