The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), has described it as a great honour and privilege to visit his leader, Hon. James Abiodun Faleke, at the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) office in Abuja.

Comrade Dauda made this known following a visit alongside his counterpart, the Executive Chairman of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Hon. Moyosore Adebanjo, to Hon. Faleke, who represents Ikeja Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives and is also a member of the PCC.

The visit came days after the formal inauguration of the Presidential Campaign Council for the re-election campaign of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the State House, Abuja, on Wednesday.

Comrade Dauda noted that political activities had entered full swing following the inauguration, stressing the need for party members and stakeholders to work together towards achieving the campaign’s objectives.

He emphasised that all hands must be on deck, calling for unity, commitment and effective collaboration among party leaders, elected officials and members as preparations for the forthcoming presidential election gather momentum.
