Comrade Dauda Welcomes City Boy Movement (Ikeja Chapter), Pledges Vehicle Support Ahead Of 2027 Election

The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), has welcomed the leadership of the City Boy Movement, Ikeja Chapter, led by its Coordinator, Ologunde Pelumi, during a visit to the council chairman as part of preparations for the 2027 general elections.

The delegation was accompanied by the Vice Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Abisola Omisore. Also, present at the visit were the
Secretary of Ikeja Local Government, Prince Adeyinka Illo, Chairman, Ikeja APC, Adebowale Adetoro.

During the engagement, AKOD expressed his readiness to support the movement’s activities, acknowledging its interest in contributing to political mobilisation and engagement ahead of the 2027 elections.

As part of his commitment, the council chairman pledged to provide the group with a vehicle to facilitate its activities and strengthen its operational capacity as it prepares for the forthcoming elections.
