Osinbajo’s Chopper Crash Lands In Kogi

The chopper conveying Nigeria’s Vice President, Prof Yemi Osinbajo, to Kabba in Kogi State crash landed on arrival in the state.
The Vice President and the crew escaped unhurt. It was gathered that Osinbajo was in Kabba for electioneering campaign ahead of the February 16 Presidential election.
The Senior Special Assistant to the Vice President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Laolu Akande, confirmed the incident as he disclosed that the chopper crash landed on arrival at the location provided by the campaign organization in Kogi State. Mr. Akande hinted that the entire crew escaped unhurt including Prof Osinbajo. He further stated that the Vice President will still go on with his activities for the day as planned in Kabba.

Through his Twitter handle he said, “VP, Osinbajo’s chopper crash lands in Kabba, but he and the entire crew are safe. He is continuing with his engagements and plans for the day in Kogi State.
“We give all the glory to God, our able protector and commend all the flight crew officials for their service. We are marching on for indeed we can do all things through Christ the strength us.”
After the accident, Prof Osinbajo, who was sighted receiving calls at the hotel provided by Kogi APC, was received by the party’s Senatorial Candidate, Senator Smart Adeyemi.
Speaking to the APC members and supporters, Osinbajo assured them that once the party wins the election that they should rest assured of more dividends of democracy.
