Hillary Clinton Loses Youngest Brother, Tony Rodman

Posted on June 9, 2019

Tony Rodham, Hillary Clinton’s youngest brother, passed away Friday night, according to the former Democratic presidential nominee and Secretary of State.

“We lost my brother Tony last night. It’s hard to find words, my mind is flooded with memories of him today. When he walked into a room he’d light it up with laughter. He was kind, generous, & a wonderful husband to Megan & father to Zach, Simon, & Fiona. We’ll miss him very much.” Clinton wrote on social media on Saturday.

Rodham was born in 1954, the youngest of Hugh Rodham and Dorothy Howell’s three children. Tony and brother Hugh were known as “The Rodham Brothers” as a result of their penchant for making headlines.

Rodham worked for the Democratic National Convention during Bill Clinton’s first presidential campaign in 1992 and Hillary’s first campaign for president in 2007.

Rodham was married to Megan Madden, and had three children.

Rodham was formerly married to Nicole Boxer, daughter of Former California Sen. Barbara Boxer. They divorced in 2001.
