Disclosing what happened before the election, Eze Omenife Peter Olikenyi, who was reelected as Vice President South, said that the election was slated to hold in the North before COVID-19 and it was not held until last week.

He explained that all the Ezendigbo from 36 States of the Federation and outside were in attendance, where peaceful election was conducted and new leaders emerged.

On the heels of some set of Ezendigbo, who held parallel election in Ogun State, Eze Olikenyi said that people can assemble and form any group and call it whatever name, but they must not use their documents.

He said that many of those, who gathered in Ogun State, were people of bad characters who had brought disgrace to the stool of Ezendigbo in many States and they were weeded out for the association to move forward.

He said they do not even have a single document as they were begging their former General Secretary to give them a copy of Constitution for them to copy adding that it shows that they are not a serious group and had  deceived the genuine Ezendigbo among them.

He explained that some were deceived to attend the Ogun State meeting and said those set of people will be considered and not those bringing bad name to the association.
