Senator Ekwunife Salutes Chief Osita Chidoka At 50

The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Uche Ekwunife PhD, has joined all men and women of goodwill to felicitate Chief Osita Chidoka on the special occasion of his golden jubilee.

Chief Chidoka, who is a former Corps Marshal and Chief Executive of Federal Road Safety Corps and former Minister of Aviation under the administration of President Goodluck Jonathan obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He also has a Masters of Public Policy degree from the Prestigious School of Public Policy at George Mason University in the United States of America.

Ekwunife, while congratulating Chief Chidoka Popularly known as Ike Obosi, described him as one of the finest brains God gave to our nation as a gift, adding that he is a patriotic Nigerian and respecter of culture and tradition. The Senator extolled his transformational feat in FRSC, noting that under his watch the Commission became a paradigm to other road safety organizations in Africa and beyond.

“It’s been half a century of Grace and life that is worthy of emulation, the essence of life is to live and let others live through you and I am proud of your achievements. Your sojourn has been characterized by love, peace, competence, hospitality and charity and indeed you are a role model to youths of Anambra Central Senatorial District, Anambra State and Nigeria”, Ekwunife noted.

The Chairman Senate Committee on Science and Technology, however, on behalf of her family and the good people of Anambra Central Senatorial District extended prayers and wishes to Chief Chidoka. “As you celebrate your golden jubilee, your life will continue to be valued, I join the world to celebrate you”, Ekwunife concluded.
