Veteran Nollywood actor and cultural icon, Prince Jide Kosoko has penned a moving tribute to Her Excellency, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, CON, as she marks her 65th birthday, describing her as “a rare gem, a woman of great virtue, and a true mother of the nation.”

In a statement that radiated deep admiration and patriotic reverence, Kosoko praised the First Lady for her decades of impactful public service, motherly care, and enduring philanthropic legacy —particularly through her flagship humanitarian effort, the Renewed Hope Initiative.

“Your life has been a shining example of selfless service, humility, and grace,” Prince Kosoko declared. “You have, over the years, touched countless lives across this nation in ways too numerous to count.”

The award-winning actor lauded Senator Tinubu’s unwavering commitment to national development, noting that her work through RHI has brought real succour to countless Nigerians — especially women and children.

“Through the Renewed Hope Initiative, many Nigerians — particularly women and children — have found hope, healing, and help,” he stated. “You have brought smiles to faces, comfort to the struggling, and light to those in darkness.”

Kosoko, known for his contributions to Nigeria’s arts and entertainment industry spanning over five decades, emphasized the importance of Senator Tinubu’s quiet strength and nurturing leadership in the nation’s socio-political fabric.

“Your philanthropic disposition continues to inspire,” he wrote. “Your motherly role in both public and private spheres stands as a pillar of strength for so many.”

The tribute went beyond celebration, as the actor offered heartfelt prayers for her continued health and strength, while expressing solid support for her and her husband, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as they lead Nigeria into a new era of hope and transformation.

“Nigeria is blessed to have you, and we — the people — are solidly behind you and Mr. President as you both steer our beloved nation towards greatness and the promised land.”

“Please be assured of my unwavering support and loyalty, now and always,” Kosoko added in closing.

Senator Oluremi Tinubu, a former First Lady of Lagos State and three-term Senator representing Lagos Central, has long been regarded as a voice for the voiceless, particularly in matters affecting women, children, education, and poverty alleviation.

Her 65th birthday celebration has been met with accolades from across the country and the diaspora, with Kosoko’s tribute standing out for its depth of sincerity and national significance.
