ACP Aboniwonda Receives Lagos CP Moshood Jimoh In Grand Style At Area M Command

It was pomp and pageantry at Area M Command, Idimu, Lagos, at the weekend as the Area Commander, ACP Tokunbo Aboniwonda, receive the Commissioner of  Police, CP Moshood Jimoh, in continuation of his familiarization tour across the various Area Commands under the Lagos State Police Command. 
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the Police boss visited the Area ‘M’ Police Command, Idimu, reaffirming his commitment to strengthening operational efficiency and community collaboration across the state.
CP Moshood Jimoh was represented by the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Administration, DC Salihu Khan, alongside the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the State Criminal Investigation Department, DC Dayo Akinbisehin.
He commended the officers and men of Area ‘M’ for their dedication, professionalism and consistent efforts in ensuring peace and security within their jurisdiction.
 The Police boss emphasized the Command’s strategic importance to the Lagos State security architecture and assured that more support, logistics and training opportunities would be extended to enhance their operational effectiveness.
The Area Commander, ACP Tokunbo Abaniwonda, expressed gratitude to the Commissioner of Police for his encouragement and support and lauded her officers for their commitment to duty and professionalism.
She also acknowledged the invaluable contributions of traditional rulers,  community leaders and critical stakeholders, who have continued to make policing a shared responsibility and a service beneficial to all.
The reception was held at the Area M Command conference hall and was well attended by critical stakeholders in Alimosho Local Government Area under the Command.
Those who attended the event included the Divisional Police Officers of the Area M Command, traditional rulers that cut across all the ethnic groups, businessmen, artisans, captains of industry, market men and women among others.
Also the Chairmen of LCDAs under Alimosho Local Government were in attendance and other stakeholders including PCRC, eminent persons and other security agencies.
The event, which attracted representatives of sister security agencies, underscored the unity of purpose in maintaining safety and harmony across Lagos communities.
The highlight of the visit was the presentation of a life sized portrait of the Commissioner of Police and an award of appreciation from the Area ‘M’ Command to mark the memorable occasion.
There was display of traditional and cultural dances from different ethnic groups in demonstration of unity and peace among the people in Area M Command, Idimu.
