Adegbola Crossing Will Be Cordoned Off For Nigeria Railway Modernisation Project – Lagos State Govt

The Lagos State Government will temporarily close Adegbola Level Crossing at Ikeja from 6pm on Saturday, 29th February, 2020 to 6am on Sunday, 1st March, 2020, for the laying of railway tracks.

According to a statement issued by the Lagos State Ministry of Transportation, motorists plying the axis are therefore implored to go through Works Road, Oba Akinjobi Way to Ikeja Underbridge, Ashade Underpass, Airport Underbridge, Ikeja Along and Local Government Secretariat Way to access their desired destinations during the specified period.

The release also advised all road users to comply with the traffic signals as well as obey traffic management officers to ease the traffic situation and minimise the inconvenience likely to result from the construction work.

While soliciting for the support and cooperation of all Lagosians during the Nigerian Railway Modernisation Project, the Lagos State Government reiterated its determination to provide a seamless multi-modal transport system that will meet the transportation need of its large population.
