Amb. Comrade Emeni Ibe Lauds Gov. Fubara On Road Infrastructure

The President General of Orashi National Congress, who doubles as the National President of Southern Youth Foundation of Nigeria, Amb Comrade Emeni Ibe, has commended the Executive Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, on the giant strides recorded in road infrastructure as well as ongoing signature projects across the state.
Speaking to the media on Saturday 9th November, 2024, Snr Comrade Ibe highlighted that the Siminalayi Fubara-led administration has excellently touched several roads which included:
1. The 10.9 kilometers Aleto-Eteo-Ebubu Road.
2. Emohua-Tema Road,
3. Egbeda internal roads,
4. Trans-Kalabari road projects,
5. Port Harcourt Dual Carriage Ring Road
6. The 33.5 kilometers Elele-Umudioga-Egbeda-Ubimini-Ikiri-Omoku dual carriage road.
7. 5 kilometers Okania-Ogbogoro.
8. Eberi-Umuakali-Omodu road linking Rivers and Abia State.
9. Rumukwurushe-Igbo Etche road.
10. Omoku-Egbema road.
11. Andoni section of the Ogoni-Opobo-Andoni unity road.
12. Extension of the road to Oyorokoto community.
19. Chokocho/Igbodo/Opkala Road
20. Kalaibiama/Epellema road
21. Opobo Ring Road
22. 10.8km Egbeda/Omerelu Road
23. Old Port Harcourt Road Ahoada
24. Ahoada/Omoku Phase 2
25. Bori Internal
26. Okehi-Omuma Road
27. Emohua – Ogbakiri road dualisation
28. Emoh/Iyak/Ighom/Elok and Emoh-Egbolom Road in Abua/Odual LGA

The ONC PG stated that it is cheering to note that amidst the noise and political distractions, Governor Sim Fubara has stayed focused, pushing forward a transformative road infrastructure agenda, which is revolutionizing Rivers State.
Ibe said, “From highways to local routes, Gov. Fubara is laying the groundwork for better connectivity, all while advancing key areas like health, education, and agriculture”.
“The amiable Governor truly has his eyes on the ball, committed to a brighter future for Rivers State.”
“We are very appreciative of the achievements of his administration despite the noticeable distractive tendencies by some enemies of the progress of the State.”
While commending His Excellency Governor Siminalayi Fubara for his giant strides in provision of infrastructures, Snr. Comrade Amb Emeni Ibe said that it is noteworthy to draw his attention and that of his Chief of Staff, Rt Hon Edison Ogerenye Ehie, to the necessity of dualizing the Ahoada – Abua Road, the construction of the Udebu – Ihuaba – Ihuama road network.
The President General of the Orashi National Congress also called on the Governor for the total review of the construction of Old Port Harcourt Road in Ahoada, and for it to be completely dualized.
He said this, bearing in mind the much expansive Ahoada Industrial Layout, which sooner than later, will witness developments and will undoubtedly open up the entire over – bridge even beyond the East West Road. He equally called for the construction of Ogbele Community Secondary School and other internal road projects around the Orashi area.
