Re-elected lawmaker representing Ikeja Constituency 2 at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Adedamola Richard Kasunmu (ARK), has affirmed that women and youths will benefit greatly from the incoming administration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The cerebral lawmaker made this known when the Executives of a gender-focused Non Governmental Organisation, Apeke Dynasty Foundation, paid him a courtesy visit in his office yesterday.
The fast-growing NGO appointed Hon Kasunmu as its pioneer Patron and the official presentation of Patron’s Insignia took place earlier during the visit.
According to, Miss Opeyemi Emeka, the Founder/Chief Operating Officer of the foundation, Hon. Kasunmu’s choice as Patron was informed by his “genuine commitment to women and youth emancipation and empowerment”, using the morale-boosting support and encouragement the Lawmaker gave the youths at the defunct ICC Centre during the last General Elections as a reference point.
In his response, Hon. Kasunmu accepted the appointment and  thanked the organization for the honour. He promised to guide, support and mentor them to the best of his ability.
Hon. Kasunmu also seized the opportunity to urge women and youths of goodwill to deepen their support for the incoming administration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whom he described as a tested and trusted advocate and promoter of women and youth empowerment, promising that Asiwaju will do great things for women and youths in the coming dispensation.
The ceremony was brief and colourful.
