At Ramadan Tefsir, Prince Oyekan Wants Nigerians To Move Closer To God
The Erinjogunola Life Foundation is at its humanitarian works again. This time around it was at the its annual Tefsir which was recently at Idi-omo in Isale-Eko, Lagos Island where Prince Ifalade Oyekan called on Nigerians to rededicate their lives to living positively.
The guest lecturer at the occasion, Fadilat Sheikh Alh. Abdulkabiru Hamzat Oladimeji spoke on the place of charity in human life, saying Erinjogunola Life Foundation, driven by Prince Ifalade Oyekan has touched and continues to touch lives in the Community.
The cleric commended Oyekan for staying true to his background, while pointing out that many of his colleagues in similar situations abandoned the community and will not want to be identified with their folks.
He prayed that God will continue to uplift Prince Oyekan for him to be able to do more for the Community. Prince Ifalade Oyekan in a short speech thanked members of his community and guests from far and near for honoring the Foundation with their presence.
Ifalade pointed out that he did not announce the event in order to control the crowd in conformity with the COVID-19 protocol and appreciated those who graced the occasion. He seized the opportunity to call on Nigerians to seize the lessons of the Holy month to rededicate their lives to the service of God and mankind.
Prince Ifalade Oyekan thanked the Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu for giving him the opportunity to serve the good people of Lagos. While he also expressed gratitude to Rt. Hon. Wasiu Sanni Eshinlokun for his support at all times.
Oyekan promised to continue to contribute to grassroots development, especially in his community and beyond when the occasion demands.
Some participants went home with various gifts as part of Erinjogunola’s empowerment schemes.
