Buruj To Register Six More Players For Manchester & Spanish Cup

Registration of players for Buruj Sports Academy’s participation in this year’s edition of Manchester Cup and Spanish Super Cup has commenced in earnest, the management of Ikorodu-based academy has confirmed.

According to the release from the office of the CEO, the registration process which took off last year has reached an advanced stage and only six players comprising of 1 goalkeeper, 2 centre backs, 2 midfielders and 1 striker were remaining to complete the squad list.

Interested members of the public who are determined to sponsor their children to reach their full potential in the beautiful game of football are therefore implored to visit the academy’s office at No. 8, Adeniran Oshodi Street, Ogolonto Bus Stop, Ikorodu for enquiries and negotiations.

It would be recalled that Buruj Sports Academy are the current champions of the English Super Cup held in Manchester last year where they won two titles while some of them young players attracted the fancy of some English clubs with the opportunity to combine their academic with sports development.

Meanwhile, players of the academy who are currently on break following the yuletide festivities will begin to arrive back to camp beginning from this Sunday, January 6.
The training will commence on Monday, 7th January for both the old and new entrants.
