The Asiwaju Group (TAG) is delighted to announce that Dr Sylvia Ngozi Okoro, a committed executive and dedicated coordinator of TAG’s professionals wing, has successfully won the bid to produce, coordinate, and supply Supernumerary (SPY) Police kits nationwide.
This exciting news comes after a highly competitive and transparent bidding process. Dr Okoro, also the Executive Director of the renowned logistics company, will oversee the production and nationwide distribution of high-quality Police uniforms and accessories, ensuring timely delivery and real-time monitoring through an innovative app.
This milestone achievement reinforces Dr Okoro’s exceptional leadership and logistical capabilities, which earned her the trust and confidence of both the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Dr Kayode Egbetokun and Prince Ade Omole. Dr Okoro expressed her profound gratitude to the IGP and Prince Omole, stating,
“I am deeply honoured by the belief placed in my capacity to deliver on this critical project. I want to assure everyone that I am fully committed to ensuring that these kits are delivered on time and with the highest quality standards across the nation.”
The newly unveiled SPY Police kits, launched at the Nigeria Police Force Headquarters by IGP Egbetokun, signify a significant leap in the drive to enhance the professionalism and visibility of the Supernumerary Police. The kit includes a full head-to-toe range of apparel, such as shirts, jackets, and pants, along with specialised law enforcement equipment.
IGP Egbetokun, represented by Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Bala Ciroma, emphasised the importance of the new uniforms in preventing the misuse of regular police attire. The standardisation of these kits, in line with Section 21(7) of the Nigeria Police Act 2020, aims to establish a distinct visual identity for SPY personnel and enhance their role as an integral unit within the force.
This project significantly contributes to the Nigeria Police Force’s efforts to improve efficiency, visibility, and professionalism. The new uniforms will be a visible mark of distinction for SPY personnel, who provide essential services in safeguarding properties for private and government organisations.
With this groundbreaking initiative, Dr Sylvia Ngozi Okoro and her company are set to enhance the operational capabilities of the Nigeria Police Supernumerary Force while contributing to national security efforts.
