Eid-el-Fitri: Hon Kasunmu Salutes Constituents, Calls For Prayers On Forthcoming LGA Elections

The Lawmaker representing Ikeja Constituency 2 at the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Adedamola Richard Kasunmu (ARK), has congratulated the Muslim Community in Ikeja Constituency 2 and beyond on the successful completion of this year’s Ramadan fast.

According to a statement from the Media Office of the lawmaker, Hon. Kasunmu “thanked Allah for the grace and privilege of making us a partaker of this year’s Ramadan. He noted that by this time last year, Nigeria and the entire world were in a state of turmoil as a result of Covid-19 pandemic. Hon. Kasunmu therefore, gave thanks to Almighty Allah for the gradual return of normalcy to our nation and other parts of the world through prayers and supplications as well as the concerted efforts of government and the cooperation of the people”.

Hon. Kasunmu further commended the Muslim community and non muslims in his Constituency for their prayers and commitment to peace, security and development of Ikeja Constituency 2, Lagos State and Nigeria at large, stating further that more prayers are needed now at this time for the success of the forthcoming Local Government Elections across Lagos State and the security of our nation Nigeria.

He also seized the opportunity to urge the youths to shun acts of violence and embrace peace and dialogue in order to achieve a better society of our collective dreams.

Hon. ARK wishes all Muslims and constituency stakeholders a happy Eid Fitri celebrations.
