Ekwunife Inspects 3 Newly Completed Units Of Bungalows Ahead Of Handover To Beneficiaries
The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Uche Ekwunife PhD, has embarked on another round of inspection of some of the projects she attracted to the Senatorial District. Ekwunife on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, visited the site of newly completed bungalows she built for the less privileged in Abagana and Enugwu-Agidi communities in Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Moments before Senator Ekwunife visited the project site in Enugwu-Agidi, she made a brief stop at the palace of HRH Igwe Mike Okekeuche, the traditional of the community, who along with some members of his cabinet graciously received her and her team.
The grassroot-friendly lawmaker had over the weekend inspected the ongoing construction of Onukwube/Kabe college road Amawbia, including a sophisticated bridge at the road popularly known as Ezi-Gab.
Recall that Ekwunife was recently selected as the recipient of the Sun Humanitarian Service Icon Award. She will among other notable Nigerians receive the Award by Sun Newspapers on Saturday, May 7, 2022. The Award came as a result of the federal lawmaker’s commitment to people-oriented representation as well as her overall impact to humanity.
The three inspected houses which are part of the 18 houses so far built by the Senator for the less privileged, will be officially handed over to the two widows and one orphan at a later date.
Notably present at the building site were the National Auditor of the People’s Democratic Party and member of the party’s NWC, Sir Daniel Obi Okechukwu, PDP Stakeholder in Njikoka LGA, Hon Humphrey Iloh, among others.
