Excitement As Nkwerre Youths Get Empowered By Nze Franklin Iwunze With Startups Business Capital

Those who have followed very tenaciously the political trajectory, business exploits and selfless community service of Nkwerre-born entrepreneur, humanist and respected community leader, Nze Franklin Iwunze (Ogbuagu Nkwerre), would attest to the fact that Nze Iwunze has not only remained a constant factor in the socio-political leadership discuss of Imenyi, but also a rallying point in providing the much needed funds, business startups, employment opportunities and leadership mentorship to Nkwerre youths, which promote socioeconomic changes, while taking them out off the streets. And it is on verifiable record that he has demonstrated this rare leadership style for over a decade and still counting, even without holding any public office.
In his avowed commitment to empower as many Nkwerre youths as his strength would carry, Chief Barr. Franklin Iwunze, through the Franklin Iwunze Foundation, a registered non-profit organisation established to help the needy and empower young people, selected two Nkwerre youths for empowernment as he gave them the sum of One Million Naira (N1,000.000.00); five hundred thousand Naira (N500,000.00) each to start up their businesses.

Presenting the N500,000.00 Zenith Bank cheque plague to the first beneficiary last weekend on behalf of Franklin Iwunze Foundation, Imo State Commissioner for Transportation, Hon.Barr. Rex Anunobi (Sokom), thanked Ogbuagu Nkwerre for his bouyant heart to empower the young artisan in his line of trade for productive engagement and economic development.
The lucky beneficiary, Aggrey Clinton Ugochukwu, a tailor from Onusa Nkwerre village in Nkwerre LGA, Imo State, we gathered, had been waiting patiently over the years to be empowered with a startup business capital and other equipment since he was not settled by his principal after three years of apprenticeship in Aba, where he learnt sewing of male outfits.

While commending Nze Franklin Iwunze for his exemplary leadership and passion for youth development, Chief Anunobi prayed God to replenish the entrepreneur and philantropist in hundred folds.
The obviously elated parents of Aggrey Clinton Ugochukwu, poured out their blessings on Ogbuagu Nkwerre for removing shame and tears from their eyes even as they prayed for their son to go and succeed with the financial seed of love and empowernment sowed into his life by his kind-hearted benefactor, Chief Barr. Franklin Iwunze.

In the same vein, another heart-warming financial empowernment from the Franklin Iwunze Foundation was also extended to an Nkwerre based bongo artiste from Amaorji village, where Chief Engr. Chibuike Lawrence Achigbu (Akasha Nwata) hailed from. Ekwueme Victor Ibezimako became the second person to benefit from the N500, 000 empowernment scheme targeted at empowering Nkwerre youths for self -reliance and productivity since Ogbuagu Nkwerre returned from the United Kingdom, where he had travelled to last year for holidays.
In presenting the Zenith Bank cheque plague of N500,000.00 to the lucky beneficiary – Ekwueme Victor Ibezimako- on behalf of the Franklin Iwunze Foundation, Chief of Staff to the Imo State Government House, Barr. Nnamdi Anyaehie, thanked the Nkwerre illustrious son and entrepreneur, Nze Franklin Iwunze, for his deep love for Nkwerre nation and interest in the development of her youths.

The Chief of Staff, Barr. Nnamdi Anyaehie, while commending the kind gesture demonstrated by Ogbuagu Nkwerre, however, asked God to replenish in hundred folds his source of income while advising the beneficiary to show gratitude by using the money very judiciously and prudently for the purpose for which it was given to him which is to support his musical career.
To this end, the presentation of the empowernment startup business capital by the Franklin Iwunze Foundation was graciously performed by the Chief of Staff and took place at the Imo State Government, Owerri, which was witnessed by Hon. Nze Chinasa Nwaneri, SA Special Duties to Governor Hope Uzodimma and a select family members of the happy lucky beneficiary.
