It was an exciting moment at the Fire Grace and Mercy Restoration Ministry in Ijegun during the annual Thanksgiving and worship service of the Chairman of Council of Ndieze, Lagos State, Eze Chika Nwokedi.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that family, friends and wellwishers including the clergy converged at the church as Eze Nwokedi presented a cow and other gift items to thank God for His mercies and protection through the years.
During the Thanksgiving service,  Nwokedi explained that for the past 10 years on every last Sunday of November,  he usually goes to Church for Thanksgiving, to show gratitude to God, thanking Him for what He has done in his life by lifting him from nowhere to the level that he holds the position of a king.
Eze Nwokedi explained that the beginning was tough but it was only by the grace of God that he was able to reach the level of becoming a landlord with many houses, becoming a king among other accomplishments.
He revealed that the secret of his success had been trust in God and kindness to humanity, stating that he has no limitations in giving and that has been his covenant with God.
During the Thanksgiving service at the church founded by his amiable wife,  Pastor Tessy Chika Nwokedi, he stated that he has the passion to give and he will continue to give until he dies.
Eze Nwokedi really had no limitations in giving not minding the religion, ethnicity and creed; he always touches lives.
It will be recalled that Eze Nwokedi on 30th October, 2023, at Ejigbo Magistrate Court in Lagos State, also displayed his milk of kindness when he was in the Court for a case.
During the Court sitting, he saw three women, one was pregnant and they were brought from prison to the Court over N220,000 balance of the money that brought them before the Court.
Eze Nwokedi showed compassion on the women, rose up in the Court and told the Presiding Magistrate, A.K. Ariyo, that he wanted to pay the money so that those women will be set free. He paid instantly and they were released. He never knew the women in question neither did he ask them where they came from.
Over the years, Eze Nwokedi has empowered many people including the less privileged, widows, sick people and has built houses for the down trodden. Nwokedi has continued to touch lives through various palliatives which cut across the States.
The Guest Preacher, Apostle Dr Paul Chime, emphasized on the need to show gratitude to God by thanking Him for His mercies and protection. He commended Eze Nwokedi for always knowing that God is supreme in the affairs of people despite the fact he is a king.
The climax of the Thanksgiving event was the entertainment of guests at his Palace, where his friends, relations and wellwishers displayed their dancing skills.
