Future Stars, Raheem & Fawas Ready For National Duty

Posted on May 25, 2026

Following the appointment of a new Nigeria U-17 male national team coach earlier this month, Buruj Sports Academy talented midfield duo, Raheem Moyinoluwa Salaudeen (16) and Fawas Ayomide Adeleke (15), remain ready and hopeful for a national team call-up.
The highly-rated youngsters have previously represented Nigeria at U-15 level in international competitions and developmental tournaments held in Morocco, Algeria and Burkina Faso during 2023, 2024, and 2025, proudly flying the nation’s colours.
Despite their young ages, both midfielders are already playing in Nigeria’s third-tier league system, where they continue to gain valuable experience and impress with their composure, creativity, and leadership qualities in midfield.
With their steady progress and international exposure, Raheem and Fawas are regarded as exciting prospects for the future of Nigerian football as they await another opportunity to wear the green and white jersey.
