Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo of Anambra State celebrated a significant personal milestone, to mark his 33rd wedding anniversary at his country home in Isuofia, Aguata Local Government Area. The event was a joyous occasion with family, reflecting faith, and community spirit.

Central to the celebration was a solemn thanksgiving Mass officiated by His Eminence Peter Cardinal Okpaleke, Catholic Bishop of Ekwulobịa Diocese. The service provided a spiritual framework for offering prayers of gratitude, blessing, and hope for continued happiness and prosperity for the Governor and his wife, Dr. Nonye Soludo.

The ceremony attracted an intimate gathering of family members, friends, dignitaries, and well-wishers who came together to honor the couple’s enduring love and commitment over more than three decades. The atmosphere was one of reverence, warmth, and collective appreciation.

Telling their love story, Governor Soludo took time to thank everyone who shared in the celebration. The Deputy Governor, Dr. Onyekachukwu and wife, Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Somtochukwu Udeze State Chief Judge, Justice Onochie Anyachebelu and his wife and a array of other eminent personalities from within and outside the state graced the occasion which also featured hymns by the choir and native music by the people of Isuofia, as well as dance by the Governor and wife, including others.
