Hajia Salamatu Ridiculed Over Desperate Move To Become APC National Women Leader

When some few days ago an online publication revealed the dirty secrets of Hajia Salamatu, who is being sponsored by the Kogi State Governor, not many believed they were true.

But today, the morning of APC National Convention, a lot of party members across Nigeria have come to realise the criminal tendencies of Hajia Salamatu and her sponsors. In a bid to deceive unsuspecting party delegates into supporting her ambition, Hajia Salamatu mandated her team to spread false rumour to the effect that Dr Ramatu Tijani, the incumbent APC National Women Leader who was endorsed yesterday by top party leaders has withdrawn from the race. Hajia Salamatu who has been associated with so many corruption cases since 2011 till date, have eventually proved many of those who sees her as corrupt right.

The wicked rumour from Hajia Salamatu’s team stated that ” a source close to her former major contender in the race for women leader, Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu disclosed that has through a letter she wrote to the Secretary of the convention committee indicated her intention to step down from the race and has pledged to support Haj. Salamatu Baiwa for a rancour free and successful convention”

They went further in their the said criminal publication to say that “the source also revealed that Dr. Ramatu’s decision was hinged on the realization of the fact that with APC having Haj. Salamatu Baiwa as Women leader, 2019 elections will be a work over for the party considering the wide network she has all over the country.

According to Salamatu’s malicious lies “Dr. Ramatu has pledged to continue to be a loyalist of the APC; a party entrenched with values of moving the country forward”

But decerning party members who eventually drew Dr Ramatu Tijani’s attention to the said rumour became convinced that it was a dirty job from Hajia Salamatu when the messages being circulated went further to state that “calls to her in order to confirm the said development prove abortive. That “However, her aide who spoke to on phone confirmed the development to be true and apologized on her behalf for not being able to pick our calls as she has been busy since morning , moving from one meeting to another.
According to Salamatu’s cheap propaganda “He added that Dr Ramatu will soon make her statement available to the press as well as collapse all her campaign structure all over the country”

The suspicious statement credited to Dr Ramatu Tijani’s Personal Assistant, made party members who new the party’s National Women Leader very well to put a call across to her.

Dr Ramatu Tijani was shocked to hear that and has responded to Hajia Salamatu’s criminal publication.

Her statement reads:

“DR. RAMATU TIJJANI ALIYU HAS NOT WITHDRAWN AND REMAINS FIRMLY IN THE RACE TO BECOME THE APC NATIONAL WOMEN LEADER”

In her words, “I have received with shock and displeasure the just published fabrication in a mushroom blog named Authority News Paper that I Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu the incumbent National women leader of the APC and a widely endorsed candidate for the National Women leadership of our great party in Today’s Convention has withdrawn from the race”

“This development is not just unfortunate but a crude demonstration of the garage politics and dirty propaganda being deployed by my Opponent and her sponsors in attempt to deceive our delegates. To think that someone seeking to become a National Women leader of our great party the APC can descend so low is not only bad for the APC but also dangerous for our nascent democracy”

“I hereby clearly and unequivocally reassert that I Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu is still firmly in the running to retain my office as the National Women leader of the APC and to build on the good work we have started together. I therefore urge our delegates and party faithfuls to disregard and ignore any such news and plots to deceive you into voting for the wrong candidate”

This morning’s criminal act by Hajia Salamatu’s team has angered so many party members and delegates and they are making efforts to ensure that she does not come close to holding any party position in the party, not even the coveted National Women Leader position.

One Mrs Abubakar Hassana, who is a member of the party from Kogi State, went further to remind Nigerians that Hajia Salamatu has a lot of criminal records that will destroy the party’s image if she is allowed to get anywhere close to the office of National Women Leader.

Responding to the said rumours, Mrs Abubakar Hassana said that she is “convinced that Hajia Salamatu is a criminal based on records already online”.

With this latest criminal act by Hajia Salamatu, it will be very surprising to Nigerians if such a character is eventually chosen by a party that prides itself as fighting corruption.
