Hon. Iyiegbu Attends The Dedication Of Ascension Anglican Church

Posted on November 21, 2022

The leading candidate for House of Representatives, Idemili North and South Federal Constituency in Anambra State, Hon. Ikenna Iyiegbu (Onyechimelu’eze), was present during the dedication of the Ascension Anglican Church, Oduma-Obosi, by Rt Rev. Dr. Owen Chiedozie Nwakolo(JP).

Speaking during the dedication, Hon. Iyiegbu stated that “as we worship God in his temple, we need to understand that God is not going to answer every prayer we utter just because we speak those words within the walls of this sanctuary. God is not going to give us everything we ask for just because we are asking for it when we gather in this beautiful worship setting”.
“There are some certain things that God will require of us as a precondition for hearing and answering our prayers. We must humble ourselves in the presence of God and recognize that without God, we can do nothing. We must seek the face of God and keep all his commandments.”
“We, as Christians, need to remember that we are not entirely independent. We cannot do whatever we want to do. Rather, we must seek to know what is God’s will for us in any situation and then apply ourselves to do what God desires of us.”
Also at the church dedication were the amiable TC Chairperson for Idemili South LGA; Hon Amaka Obi (Iyom Idemili), former APGA member representing Idemili North and South at the Green Chambers; Hon Ifeanyi Ibezi, Rt. Hon Maduekwe and many other dignitaries that joined Hon Iyiegbu to the dedication.
