Hon. Segun Odunmbaku Flags Off Maiden Edition Of DOS Mega Cup In Ojodu LCDA

The Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, has officially launched the maiden edition of the DOS Mega Cup Football Competition, an initiative aimed at promoting grassroots sports development and nurturing young football talents within the LCDA.

During the flag-off ceremony, Hon. Odunmbaku highlighted the transformative power of sports, describing football as a tool for unity and youth empowerment. He pledged his unwavering support for the competition, assuring players of opportunities to advance their skills and careers.

“This competition is more than entertainment; it’s about creating future football stars from Ojodu LCDA” he remarked.

The tournament will feature eight teams from the six wards, NULGE team and APC LGA team competing for the prestigious trophy, with matches taking place in two local venues.

Chairman of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC), Mr. Babalola Fowler, commended Hon. Odunmbaku for championing grassroots development and promised an exciting sports event focused on grooming players for international professional opportunities.
