Hon. Segun Odunmbaku Hosts Ramadan Lecture On Unity In Society

The Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Hon. Segun Odunmbaku, yesterday hosted a special Ramadan lecture themed “The Power of Unity in Our Society” at the Akiode Muslim Praying Ground, Ojodu LCDA.

The spiritually enriching event featured a soul-stirring lecture by Alhaji Sheikh Sulaiman Bayonle Hussein, the Chief Imam of Aguda Okeira Central Mosque. He emphasized the importance of unity, love and peaceful coexistence in fostering societal progress, particularly during the sacred month of Ramadan. The cleric also underscored the need for mutual understanding and cooperation between leaders and the people to ensure sustainable development.

In his remarks, Hon. Odunmbaku expressed gratitude to residents, religious leaders and the Muslim faithful for their participation. He also called for prayers for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his birthday, saying his reforms have improved grassroots governance and seeked prayers for highly revered political leader and GAC member Cardinal James Omolaja Odunmbaku, as well as MHR James Abiodun Faleke, for their efforts in driving peace, growth and development in Ojodu LCDA.

The event was attended by APC Chairperson Alhaja Stella Kokumo, Vice Chairperson Hon. Gbemi Ololade, SLG Hon. Olaide John Bello, Council Executive Members and Councillors. It served as a moment of reflection, learning and spiritual renewal, reinforcing unity as a pillar for societal progress.
