P.M.EXPRESS reports that the suspects were arrested around 4:00am while they were returning from their confraternity’s annual conference at a hotel (name withheld) located in Lekki.
This was disclosed by the RRS in a statement and they confirmed the arrest of the suspects now in detention undergoing interrogation over their alleged conduct.
The RRS said preliminary investigations revealed that Bright, a resident of Ikoyi, joined the confraternity in 2024. He is a university student.
“Prince, who goes by the alias “Rugged Promotion”, is a hairstylist and a university student.
“Their arrest was prompted by the suspicious movement of one of the suspects, Daniel Prince, who was carrying a cross bag. In Prince’s bag, the operatives discovered caps associated with the confraternity, leading to the immediate arrest of both suspects.”
“The arrest reinforces the ongoing efforts of the State Command to curb cult-related activities and maintain law and order in the State.
“The suspects have been transferred to CP’s Special Squad for further investigations,” the RRS concluded.
The Police stated that the suspects will be charged before the Court for the alleged offence under the Criminal Laws of the State but that will be after the conclusion of investigations by the Police.
