How Billionaire Business Mogul, Anuforo Was Assassinated

Facts have emerged on how a Billionaire business mogul, Chief Leo Anuforo, was assassinated by unknown gunmen in Imo State.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that Chief Anuforo was murdered when his convoy was traveling on Monday along Ideato South Local Government area of Imo State.

The late Anuforo, who was a Community Leader and Managing Director/CEO of Lorag Consortium, died immediately from a bullet shot through his chest at close range during the attack on his convoy.

According to Police sources, over 10 persons were killed during the attack including 3 Police officers attached to Mr. Anuforo and others persons who may have been caught up in the rain of bullets.

The sporadic shooting during the attack suggested that it was hit of assassination job though there was no Police report over the attack.

It was gathered that another convoy on sighting the ugly scene helped the injured persons and some of the deceased to a nearby hospital where they were confirmed dead. The corpses were deposited at an undisclosed hospital for autopsy report while the Police were said to have commenced investigation into the incident.

The late Anuforo hailed from Okohia-Isiekenesi in Ideato South LGA, Imo State. Since the incident happened, the community has been thrown into mourning as the Police in the state said investigation is ongoing to fish out those behind the dastardly act.
