How Willie Obiano Was Arrested By Anti-Graft Body, EFCC

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Thursday night arrested the immediate former Anambra State Governor, Willie Obiano at the Murtala Muhammad International Airport Lagos.
Obiano was reportedly arrested at about 8.30pm local time.
This development is coming hours after Chief Sir Willie Obiano handed over to Prof Charles Soludo, who is the new governor of Anambra State.
Obiano was said to be on his way to Texas, USA, when operatives intercepted him. He was said to have been on the EFCC’s radar for a while now over allegations of fraud and embezzlement.
