I Don’t Use Money From Robbery To Feed My Family- Suspect Says

A 25-year old robbery suspect, Seun Isaiah, has confessed that despite the fact that he was an armed robber, he claimed that he does not take the money from robbery home to feed his family in Lagos.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that Isaiah, a.k.a Omotesoju, which means fire, revealed that he was a trained bricklayer and does the work in the day time. But at night, he would go for robbery and any money realized from the operations was for drinking, smoking and womanizing.
He said that he was married with children but his wife does not know he is an armed robber because she always sees him going to construction site to work and bring money home for feeding in the family.
On why he does not take money from robbery home to feed his family, Isaiah explained that he does not want anything that will spoil his family especially his children, who he wishes will be responsible children when they grow up noting that feeding them from his loot will spoil their lives.
“I don’t want anything that will spoil my family as such I don’t take any money realised from robbery home to feed my family.”
He said he was influenced by his friends to get involved in crime and wished he would regain his freedom vowing never to go back to the crime world.
Isaiah left his house at 27 Aboqunloko Asejere area of Ikotun and joined their gang members, Akeem, a.k.a AK, and Adisa Aderibigbe in Ayobo with their guns and operational motorcycle around 5 am.
According to the residents, they had succeeded in robbing many residents in Ayobo then moved to Ipaja and continued their operations before the Police operatives from Ipaja Division led by the DPO, CSP Tokumbo Aboniwonda, got information and smashed them while the third suspect escaped and now at large.
According to the residents, before they could rob some houses, two of the suspects namely Isaiah and Adisa, were apprehended by the Police, who disarmed them, recovered their gun and two motorcycles including the one they had robbed from the owner.
They were subsequently transferred to the Police Command for further investigation as was confirmed by the Police Public Relations Officer, SP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, who said that the two suspects are in Police custody undergoing interrogation while the Police have intensified efforts to arrest the other suspect now at large.
