I Was Referring To Brig. Gen. AM Adetuyi And Not Brig. Gen. Nsikan John Edet – Says Senator Adeola While Standing By Revelations On Death Of Aide

Posted on August 21, 2023

The Chairman of Senate Committee on Appropriations, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi), said that his attention has been drawn to a mistake of fact regarding the Commander of the 9 Brigade, Ikeja Cantonment of the Nigerian Army in the above referenced story to the effect that the commander is Bridgadier General Nsikan John Edet.

The Senator has since discovered that Brigadier General Edet left the Cantonment in July this year after a stint from May. He handed over to the incumbent, Brigadier General AM Adetuyi.

The Senator, while standing by all other revelations of his statement and without imputation of any wrongdoing directly on the commanders, regrets the mix up of incumbent commander of Ikeja Cantonment of the Nigeria Army.
