Igbo Speaking Community’s BOT Presents Election Certificates To Andymoore & Ohamadike

The Board of Trustees of the Igbo Speaking Community, Lagos State, has presented certificates of election to its newly elected vice chairmen from Anambra and Enugu States.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that Prince Andymoore Ezejioha (Onowu) and Chief Obinna Ugwu, popularly known as Ohamadike, received their certificates as executive members of the community during a ceremony held in Surulere, Lagos.
The presentation was carried out by the Chairman of the BOT, Dr. Jonathan Nnaji, in his office.
He congratulated the two officials and urged them to uphold the values of unity and service that define the Igbo Speaking Community in Lagos.
The event was witnessed by several community leaders and stakeholders. Among those present were Eze Tony Greg Anosike, APC chieftain Chief Mrs. Ngozi Chinwuko, BOT’s Director of Media, Chief Cyriacus Izuekwe, and other members.
Speaking after receiving his certificate, Onowu Andymoore Ezejioha thanked Dr. Nnaji and the BOT for their efforts in restoring peace to the Igbo Speaking Community after years of internal crisis.
He said the intervention of the BOT had created a more stable platform for Ndigbo in Lagos to engage in cultural, social, and economic activities without division.
Ezejioha pledged to work closely with other executive members to maintain and strengthen the peace initiative led by the BOT and other stakeholders. He noted that unity was essential for the community to achieve its goals.
The vice chairman also called on the BOT to intervene in the ongoing crisis within the Ndieze structure in Lagos State. He said resolving the dispute would further consolidate peace among Igbo leaders in the state.
Ezejioha expressed confidence that the current leadership of the Igbo Speaking Community under President Chief Sunday Udeh had no involvement in the rumours about the purported crowning of an Eze Ndigbo Gburugburu in Lagos.
In the same vein, Chief Ugwu thanked the BOT Chairman, Dr Nnaji and promised to work with other executive members to restore Igbo Speaking community to its past glory.
He urged members of the community to support the current executives for the progress of the community.
The BOT reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring transparency, inclusiveness, and stability within the Igbo Speaking Community in Lagos as it continues to serve as a bridge between Ndigbo and other ethnic groups in the state.
