Ignatius Akuba, Noah Salaudeen Set To Lead Buruj Players To Manchester

Posted on July 20, 2018

Following their exploits at the English Super Cup last year which earned them a unique chance for trials at Borehamwood Football Club, the duo of Akuba Ignatius and Noah Salaudeen are set to shine again this year and are being expected by the management and technical crew of Buruj Sports Academy to inspire their colleagues to excellence in Manchester.

It was in that same city that the two players shone like million stars in 2017 and after impressing the scouts and coaches from the English clubside, Borehamwood, they impressed during the trial period and were billed to continue their education and soccer development programme at Southgate College on scholarship basis.
They only returned to Nigeria in the beginning of this year to put finishing touches to their preparations and regularise their papers for stay in England. The management of the academy is hoping that other players will take a cue to play their way to stardom as they are set to jet out of the country next week.

It would be recalled that Buruj Sports Academy emerged as the overall champions of the 2017 edition of the tournament organised by Team Tours Direct, a Swansea-based tours and sports company.
