He urged corporate organizations to continue to partner with the local government by fulfilling their civic obligations.

In their responses, some of the company managers commended the initiative and expressed their willingness to cooperate. They however, appealed to the Chairman to ensure a more conducive business environment that supports growth, ease of operations, and improved infrastructure.

The Council Chairman assured them of the local government’s commitment to creating a business-friendly environment, stressing that their feedback would be given due consideration as part of efforts to strengthen public-private collaboration.

Accompanying the Chairman on the visits were the Council Manager, Mrs. Juliana Taiwo Odubeko; the Council Treasurer; the Head of Department, Planning and Budget, Dr. Yemisi Anita Rasak; as well as Area Officers of the local government.

The revenue drive forms part of the administration’s broader strategy to enhance internally generated revenue and accelerate grassroots development across Ikeja.
