Posted on November 10, 2021

A leading pro-democracy group in Kwara State, Kwara Must Change has described the introduction of an e-learning platform, KwaraLEARN as a true reflection of the seriousness with which the Kwara State government approaches education reforms in the state.

The statement was made by the Convener of the group, AbdulRazaq Hamzat while fielding questions on the recently introduced KwaraLEARN platform in the state.

In his statement, Hamzat described the move as a masterstroke and a demonstration of what the present administration in the state intends to do in the education sector of the state.

Hamzat observed that “Kwara State needs to move beyond the usual board and chalk approach to learning to embrace the more modern approaches which digital education entails”

While reiterating the stand of Kwara Must Change to support the present administration with relevant advocacy and public enlightenment that would expose the nitty-gritty of the new digitalized education in the state to the citizens, he urged teachers, pupils and school administrators to give utmost support to the programme in the best interest of the teaching profession, and educational advancement of the state.

Hamzat also reiterates the call made by Kwara Must Change for public officials to enrol their children in public schools, noting that the move will help address the human deficiency in the system.

He concluded that everyone must do their part for Kwara education to be strengthened and the government must be supported in its progressive efforts to move the state to a greater height.
